The plan keeps the existing building of the old sulfur factory SAFRA with the idea to offer different alternatives to allow the location of new uses and offer better possibilities to promote its rehabilitation, and also allows for an extra built floor space for its future extension. The rest of the built floor space is assigned for the development of new residential buildings.
Based on general planning the main goals targeted by the Urban Renovation Plan:
· Transform previous uses and activities into new ones compatible with the residential use planned for the surrounding plots.
· Plan the necessary roads and urbanization elements.
