The area included in the Partial Plan Torre Salses (SUR 42) is located on the left bank of the Segre river, to the south east of the historic center of the city and between Magraners and Bordeta quarters. The Tarragona railway, (high speed train), the Seros canal, the A-2 national road and the Segre river, separate it from the city center.
Currently the site represents a way to release valuable land for the construction of single family houses, in a geographically well placed area and at a lower cost compared to other areas of the city with the same land use. At the same time, the sector includes utility networks and public facilities to balance city growth according the general planning, achieving the integration and the connection of Magraners and la Bordeta quarters.
